Is YouTube Red Worth or Waste?

So, YouTube introduced this new service that they created called YouTube Red. YouTube Red is an app where you can watch all current YouTube videos without seeing ads (YES!!) Also, you can see new videos and shows of famous YouTubers like PewDiePie, Fine Brothers and Superwoman. Another feature of YouTube Red is that you can watch videos offline or play music while you use another app at the same time. I also believe that YouTube is going to have their original series and movies which are starting in 2016 and YouTube is also allowing viewers to save videos OFFLINE! Well, YouTube made all our wishes come true, which is, we don't have to watch ALL these ads.

YouTube was not the first app that have all these features. Other companies use it too like Spotify, Soundcloud, Apple Music and Netflix. These apps have done those things, now it will become a huge competition between these companies. But unfortunately, YouTube Red would cost you $10.00. YouTube Red has the same price as Netflix, but YouTube Red has more features like save videos offline, background play, an original series and movies, Google Play Music subscription and the best feature, ad-free.

Yes, I believe that YouTube Red would be worth it because it's a good price and with a lot of features that comes with the app. Also, at the price of  $10.00, YouTube Red could give Spotify and Apple Music a run for their money because YouTube Red doesn't just offer on-demand music, but everything on YouTube without the annoying ads. YouTube Red would be a great price because it can really save you a lot of money.

  1. Gotta disagree, paying 120 dollars a year basically isn't worth it. Ad-Blockers already exist, and so do various video downloaders that allow you to download and watch videos offline, YouTube didn't allow this before, but they lifted the conditions of downloading for some reason, so now you can download and watch any video basically for free... I like your perspective and opinion though.
